Monthly Message from Patty Benton

Happy July!  I hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July!  We had a great time, saw some wonderful fireworks and celebrated Jerome’s birthday!  Lots of fun and relaxing was done and I came back to the week ready to go.

So often as virtual professionals we don’t take the time to relax and enjoy ourselves.  The problem with that is that if we work all the time we just get burnt out and that is no fun, nor is it conducive to success!

For the summer months, we kicked off a 3 part series last month on building a successful business foundation.  This month the “Failure is NOT An Option Coaching Program: Your Business Foundation to Success” is discussing part 2 of the series “Creating a Solid Foundation Critical Success Factor 2 – Belief + Action = Success”.   We will be discussing the importance of believing in yourself and your offerings in order to build a solid, successful business foundation. With weekly activities, discussions, and training calls, by the end of the month, we will all be creating the belief muscle in ourselves to have the business we intended.  You can get more details on this program at http://pattybenton.com/membershipoptions/.

We are also excited to be introducing our new affiliate program.  We are kicking this off with a very special incentive for affiliates.  Just for signing up for our new affiliate program, every affiliate will get 1 month of MasterMind Participation for FREE and then continue on for the specially discounted prices of $36/mo if you choose.  We are also offering monthly deals that ONLY our affiliates can offer.  So sign-up and start taking advantage of these incentives at http://www.clixgalore.com/AffSelectProgram.aspx?AdvProgID=13215.

The feature article this month is on keeping the faith.  We all have bad days, and even sometimes weeks that seem never ending.  It is wonderful though, to know that you have someone on your side and all you have to do is ask for help anytime you need it and it will be given.  This is important in believing in yourself and your products as well…knowing that there is a higher power out there that knows you can succeed and will help you to believe it also.

Continuing this month, in the section on meeting the team we are spotlighting Jennifer Jacobs.  Jennifer is our tech guru and the one that handles all our back end things.  Without Jen we would be spending hours trying to figure things out.  She is absolutely amazing and does tech tasks so quickly that half the time they are done before I even finish my emails.  (She has a knack at thinking ahead and anticipating what I need!)

Have a wonderful July and I can’t wait to hear what your dreams for your business are and how I can help you achieve them!

As always, please feel free to send me your story ideas, questions and comments at editor@professionaladminteam.com. I’d love to know how things are going for you. Don't forget - you can sign up for a complimentary, 45-minute consultation at any time with me at http://tungle.me/PattyBenton.

To your business success!

Meet the Team

You have heard from me all about this incredible team that I have working with me right now and now I would like to introduce them to you one at a time so you can get to know them better.  For the month of July I would like to introduce you to Jennifer Jacobs.  I was absolutely ecstatic to bring Jennifer onto the team.  I was struggling with the back end of our site and fighting to understand everything and find plugins etc. that worked with what I was using.  I brought Jen onto the team and in only a few days, Jen had everything on the backend worked out for me and had a list of plugins that I could use for the tasks that I was seeking.  I was amazed!  Jen has such talent with tech issues and so without further ado…I will introduce her to you!

Jennifer Jacobs, owner of Superior Collaborations, is dedicated to helping your business grow by spreading your message online.

Jennifer is a certified Internet Marketing VA who works with you, the small business owner, to develop Internet marketing and e-commerce strategies tailored to your specific business. She offers a variety of services including cart setup and customization, creation and maintenance of autoresponders, newsletter creation and updates, affiliate program management and social media marketing.

Jen has been told by clients that they could never have built their business up through the internet without her amazing skills and willingness to find out anything she doesn’t have an answer too.

Jen is always learning something new and is self taught in most areas.  She loves the technical side of things and finding out how things work together.

Whether you are just starting out or looking to take your business to the next level, Jennifer will help you design and implement the strategies that will bring you more customers while allowing you the time to interact with them. Marketing You Can Use –  Keeping the Faith

Everyone has those days when it just feels like nothing is going right. Your kids or husband is sick and needs you to take care of them. You’re not feeling well, yourself. A storm has hit and knocked your power or internet out on the day of an important meeting. One of your best clients seems to have defected to the competition. Oh yes, these are the days as a Virtual Professional that you just feel like hiding your head under the covers and never coming back out.

Please take heart because these days happen to absolutely EVERYONE! It may feel, at times, that they happen more to you than they do to other people, but that’s most likely not the case. However, they WILL happen on occasion and there’s nothing you can do to really prevent them. It’s just life and you have to accept that.

The good news is that if you are Virtual Professional who is also a Christian, you will always have someone by your side when it feels as though your life is caving in. You have the option of just stopping in the middle of everything and asking for some help to handle the things that are not going well for you right then. It’s not required that you drop to your knees, unless you just feel like it. Prayer works whether you simply close your eyes at your desk, or even looking up at the heavens with your eyes open. The method of prayer isn’t as important as the prayer itself.

Many Christians do this throughout their work days even when everything is going RIGHT. This provides much needed bolstering of confidence and energy just knowing that they are not alone. More than one Christian has admitted to starting off each work day with a prayer to sustain them through the day and end it with another one, giving thanks for the wisdom imparted to them that day.

Christians have the best guidance available to them that exists. It’s free and never wrong, and it’s there for the asking. The only thing required to take advantage of this guidance is the faith that it will work for you. That’s it. If you keep your faith intact, you will receive many blessings from it, including through your work.
