Monthly Message from the Editor

 

I have so much to share with you that I don't even know where to begin.  I will start by giving you a synopsis, and then breaking all the exciting information down for you. I encourage you to read this message in it's entirety, as we will be asking for your help and support in an empowering 2010 goal, that is designed to help change your life, and the lives of those around you.
 
I must say that 2009 has been the most challenging year I have faced yet.  With family issues, including the passing of my father and our nanny, illnesses of my family and myself, and a major shift in business focus, I have grown tremendously as a woman, mother, and business owner.  All true business owners must take the challenges they face, and determine how it affected their business, and what strategies they can put in place to "cushion" future blows.  Our business journey is a journey of lessons.  I always say that a mistake is not a mistake, if we learn from it, it becomes a lesson.  So I looked over the challenges I faced this past year with some tears, some laughter, and some prayer, and have been making some tremendous changes for 2010, in which I would like to take this opportunity to share.
 
As I mentioned, and you may have noticed, this past year I made a major business shift, from offering primarily Virtual Assistance Services (more info below on what we are still offering), to offering primarily Business Coaching Services.  It has been a rewarding, and scary (with some tears as we said good-bye to some long-time clients) shift.  As I have looked at the Coaching Program in 2009, I was excited to be now offer marketing training that has been a HUGE hit, as well as Christian Life Coaching Certification!  In April of 2010, that marketing training is scheduled to become available as an independent study course.  This will free me up to do more of what I love - reaching out and sharing valuable information with others.  (You may have noticed the title of this newsletter - and I will be reaching that in just a moment, so bear with me.)  I already have 2 non-JERPAT speaking engagements scheduled, as well as a planned Marketing Train System Live in Vegas launch (in planning stages for June, 2010).  I will be offering more free & paid speaking engagements, tailored to support women Virtual Professionals in their business journey.
 
Yes, I did mean to put women, because that is a huge piece of our shift in 2010.  I am excited to announce that I will be partnering with Dolly Norris Hooker, Certified Christian Life Coach & Trainer, to bring a new coaching program, entitled "The Missing Piece, LLC."  You will notice in the next week or so that the workvirtualcoach.com site will be down, and when it comes back up, it will point to our new site, www.everywomansnorthstar.com.   Through much prayer and deliberation, Dolly and I want to be true to our passions, and to bring our passions together to support you, women, as a whole.  Dolly will be providing several empowering coaching programs throughout 2010 to help develop the Christian Woman within her walk with Christ and her life.  I will be providing more coaching programs that address the needs of women who are striving to create or grow their Virtual Professional Businesses.  Together, our goal is to be able to meet every woman where she is at, and be able to help guide her to fill her missing pieces in her life and business journey.  As Christ has always been the focus of our journey, we will continue to keep Him at the center of our programs.
 
As our goal for The Missing Piece, LLC, we are striving to empower 10,000 women in 2010.  We will be creating a new blog, www.fromawomansheart.com, that will be a text and video blog, focused on reaching women and empowering them.  We are launching this blog the beginning of January, so please, be sure to check back then, as it will be powerful, and written to inspire you all.  Additionally, we will be offering free and paid classes focused on empowering women in their personal, spiritual, and business life.  
 
This does not mean that JERPAT is gone, quite the contrary in fact.  JERPAT Training & Coaching is merging into The Missing Piece, LLC, and will not longer be an entity of JERPAT any longer.  We are continuing and making major changes to JERPAT, beginning with changing it to JERPAT, LLC.  JERPAT, LLC will continue to offer affordable web design & graphic design services.  As well, my passion as a Virtual Assistant is helping coaches and speakers who want to grow their business through speaking.  I will be reaching out to these women, and offering them several quality, affordable packages.  I will also continue supporting my clients in publishing their newsletters (a service I love).
 
We will be changing this newsletter a slight bit to "The Missing Piece", continuing to focus our attention at developing you as a Virtual Professional, and also in your life journey.  Jerome will continue as our Computer Guru, Dolly will be inspiring you in the Coaches Corner, and I will continue to bring you articles, tips, ideas, and resources to continue growing your business.  We will also be striving to bring in guests that we think can help inspire and empower you..
 
I hope you will continue the journey with us, and forward this to anyone else you feel we can inspire.  We will be asking you through the next year to help us reach out to 10,000 women, so be on the lookout for how you can use us as a valuable resource for your friends, family, and business associates, all the while helping us reach our goal.   I only hope that we can inspire and empower you in some way in 2010, so you can become one of the 10,000 women we are striving to empower!
